Sick Days
Sick time is available to all employees, including part time, and accrues in compliance with Oregon laws: one hour of sick time per 30 hours worked. Sick days are only used for when the employee is physically ill. Sick days are not available for cash out and does not roll over to the next year.

After the end of your second + years, vacation will not roll over and must be used within the year. Vacation days are not available for cash out.
Flexible Holidays
As a salaried employee, you have the flexibility to manage your schedule and working hours. Popular holiday weeks (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s) will come with a lower expectation of billable hours. Employees are supported in observing holidays that are important to them and should communicate their needs with supervisors.
Monthly Wellness Day
Each month, each staff member will get one paid day off for wellness. This day will be determined in collaboration with your supervisor.
32-Hour Work Weeks
Because 40 hours is too much work! LGS believes mental wellness and personal/family time is important and it’s hard to make time for that when you’re burnt out from work.
Bereavement and Other Life Events
LGS is a supportive work environment. We support our employees in taking a pause from work so they can take care of themselves when big things happen in life. Employees will work out an individual plan/agreement with supervisors when a situation arises.
Overtime
Our preferred work week is 32 hours. Employees may have flexibility between weeks but are not allowed to work over 40 hours per week. Working between 32-40 hours per week does not constitute overtime. Overtime is not allowed unless prior approval by supervisor is given under special circumstances.
Flexible Schedule: Make your own schedule based on the hours that work for you and your family.
