Pets: none at the moment. Before moving to Oregon from Louisiana I had two cats named Sox and CC. 

3 favorite things: Thanksgiving with my family, hiking, trying new foods by cooking them or through the creation of others

Something I like to do outside of work:  Exploring the world through the outdoors, connecting with others, and arts/culture. 

Something interesting about me: My nicknames from my brother-in-law have been Flamingo and Cursive J. Flamingo because I wore all pink one day and was randomly caught with my leg perched on the other as flamingos do. Cursive J came when I moved to the big city of New York because he thought I was now a sophisticated city girl. 

Why I do what I do: To be a space where someone feels seen and heard. This is what I've felt called to do since middle school.
