Shante Noblick, Drug and Alcohol Counselor, CADC I, CRM

Position/program: Outpatient substance use disorder counselor

Pronouns: She/her

Pets: 1 Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua named Luna

3 favorite things: Spending time with my family. I’m a mother to a spunky little girl. Anything outdoors/nature and traveling!

Something I like to do outside of work: I really love just relaxing at home, cuddled up with my favorite candles, watching scary movies and playing video games. And lots and lots of self care!

Something interesting about me:  I’m originally from Portland but spent my summers in Ohio growing up and I love everything about the fall and winter!

Why I do what I do: I know firsthand the struggle of facing life’s toughest battles. I’ve walked the path of addiction, navigated the complexities of dealing with DHS, legal issues, and mental health challenges, all while surviving domestic violence, the lasting effects of CPTSD from my childhood and being the sole provider to my daughter with medical needs. Through it all, I’ve also had to learn how to love myself—a journey just as important as recovery itself. My journey hasn’t been easy, but these experiences have shaped my passion and drive for helping others. I understand the obstacles, the pain, and the healing that self-love can bring. My mission is to not only support those facing similar hardships but also to teach them the importance of loving themselves as they rebuild their lives. Recovery isn’t just about breaking free from addiction; it’s about finding the strength to care for and value yourself as well.
